Vern is at London Heathrow Airport waiting to board for his trip home. He sent me this message about his flight from Entebbe:

Yesterday was the first time on the several flights to Uganda that I have gotten to fly over biblical sites in clear daylight: near Cyrene in North Africa, the island of Crete, Corinth and the Corinthian peninsula, and Dalmatia / Illiricum.

I was really excited to see these places even from 35000 feet, and the last couple of places were under some cloudcover, but a few of the passengers seemed rather puzzled at my intense interest.

Then he sent this photo that he took from the plane of The one visible snow capped peak on the island of Crete – where Paul sent Titus to appoint elders.
